Flower, Plant, and Remembrance Guidelines
Thank you for your cooperation with these policies – put in place to help ensure the continued beauty and safety of our Cemetery.
Visiting hours are dawn – dusk every day.
Only one decorative or floral object may be on a grave at any one time.
Flowers must be in an approved vase, should be securely anchored in the vase, and should not be stuck in the ground.
Solar-powered lights may be displayed only in an approved vase. They should not be stuck in the ground.
Easels and potted plants must be removed after 5 days.
Holiday decorations can be displayed between November 1st and January 31st, and will be removed by the cemetery staff beginning February 1st.
Both artificial and real flowers, as well as plants, are permitted but they should be removed before they begin to fade, weather, or wilt. Faded or dying objects that detract from the gravesite’s appearance will be removed on a regular basis by groundskeepers. If you wish to retrieve a live plant or floral arrangement, please do so before it wilts.
Mausoleum floral tributes are to be placed only in vases purchased for the Mausoleum and placed on your family’s crypt(s).
Groundskeepers may reposition or remove objects that do not meet Cemetery guidelines or that interfere with their upkeep of the Cemetery.
Glass containers, tin cans, baskets, concrete ornaments or vases, and other miscellaneous objects are not permitted on graves.
